I LOVE Quilting!

Well, I am just speeding through my nieces quilt, should be done well before her first birthday unlike her sister's quilt HAHA!!
After I finish her quilt, I'm doing one for my mom in memory of her sister (my Auntie Winnie) who recently passed after an illness. It's a breast cancer awareness quilt, titled Quilt of Many Ribbons. I can't wait to do another quilt for my mom. The first one I made for her was well over 6 years ago, it's actually sitting behind me on the couch =) Was very simple, not as well put together as the ones I make now. Will most definatly post pictures of it so you can see how much I've improved

I'm still on the search for the perfect fabrics for my Bargello quilt...well will be OUR quilt now! My man and I are moving into our own place in 5 days!! I'm always with him anyways, so now all my stuff will be with me, that's the only difference.
Sad news though, pictures will be hard to post, my camera is a wee bit water logged....water bottle in purse incident =( So please excuse the lack of pictures and the lack of quality of pictures I may actually be able to post as they will be from my cell phone. Thanks for reading

ahhh i've been inspired

So, I'm sad to say all my sewing stuff is packed up, and has been for over 3 weeks. I'm moving the end of the month. our new place is going to have a beautiful sewing room for me! full of shelving and outlets and great lighting!!! plus we'll still have 2 rooms (master and a spare)
also when we went to the VIEX this year, I ran into some family friends at an info booth, stopped to chat and found out that her church hosts a FREE quilting get together every Monday night for 3 hours. Mom & I went on Monday, looooovvved it!! What a great way to get all my quilts done! I'm going to get started on some xmas craft fair stuff once I finish the quilt I'm working on.
Very sad to report that my camera got drowned in my purse :( Don't know how the heck I'm going to post up pictures, I guess I'll just have to ask people to send me pictures I take with their camera!
